About Me
Hi, I’m Elena, I’ve been a qualified Audiologist and Hearing Therapist for 18 years, working within the NHS, seeing people for all aspects of their ear and hearing care. I am registered with ‘The Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists’ as both an Audiologist and Hearing Therapist. My work has included the assessment and diagnosis of hearing loss, the fitting of hearing aids and communication advice and tactics, to those struggling to manage their hearing loss, with or without the use of hearing aids. A large part of my clinical work, has also included undertaking full tinnitus assessments, tinnitus counselling, management and support, to those troubled by tinnitus, helping them to be in control and manage their tinnitus more effectively. Each person has a different experience and story, therefore it is important to listen and understand, in order to provide the best support to an individuals needs.
I have been qualified in ear wax removals for the past 2 years, performing both microsuction and ear irrigation, depending on the needs of the client, using the most up to date equipment.
